We welcome you to the website for the Avon Lake United Church of Christ.  We also extend an extravagant welcome to you attend our worship services and any of our events or functions.  Please take a few minutes to look around our site.  Hopefully this site will serve as a quick introduction to our church, but the best way to get to know us – is to join us!

During the summer months, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we worship together at 10:00 AM.  The rest of the year, we celebrate on Sunday morning with two services at 9:00 and 11:00 AM.  Our 9:00 Spirited Traditional service features our choir and organ music and a traditional worship order.  Our 11:00 New Horizons service features music by Anchored in Faith, our band.  The service also includes the use of video projection and themes woven into the worship order.  Together, we celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month.

At our February 2019 class, we welcomed 30 new members to Avon Lake UCC.  In 2021 we welcomed 24 new adults, plus 16 students became adult members through our Confirmation Class!  Our next Inquirers Class for prospective members or anyone wanting to learn more about ALUCC will be on Sunday, February 27 at 4:00 PM.
