Film Fest, Movie Screenings
On Wednesday, July 17, at 7 PM, we are showing the short film, “Labyrinth.” This 22-minute documentary screened at the Cleveland International Film Festival this spring and won the award for the best Ohio short film. “Labyrinth” was made by 17 students at St. Edward High School in conjunction with the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. It features interviews with women about their life experiences with sexual harassment. Some of the filmmakers will be here for a Q&A session.
On Wednesday, July 24, at 7 PM, we are showing the film, “One Last Summer.” The brainchild of our own Nate Taylor, this film tells the story of the last summer at Pilgrim Hills UCC church camp, a place special to many in the ALUCC community. Many ALUCC members contributed to the production costs of this film, which was made by Kent State University students.
