The goal of our Parish Nurse Program is to meet the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the individual by utilizing the resources of our church family (Doorstep Dinners/Heavenly Helpers), the health care system, and the community.

Cheryl Updegraff, our parish nurse, responds to the needs of our church members by visiting members in the hospital, nursing homes and at their home.  Cheryl is typically available on Sunday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and evenings by appointment.  Cheryl provides support and education of availability of services, programs, and health screenings.  Our Parish Nurse staff position is a part time position at 10 hours per week.  You may reach Cheryl via e-mail at parishnurse@avonlakeucc.org
