Monday, August 9, at 7 PM: we are showing a brief documentary entitled, “Purple,” which shows how people who hold radically different political opinions can learn to listen to one another. We will follow up the film with a Q&A discussion with Derek Harley, Avon Lake UCC member who is working on Capitol Hill with the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress – the group tasked with helping members of Congress collaborate and increase civility.
