Screenagers – Thursday, August 9
Avon Lake UCC has procured the rights to show the highly-regarded short documentary, “Screenagers” on Thursday, August 9, at 7 PM. “Screenagers” helps parents and students understand the risks of too much screen time and negotiate together a healthy approach to the use of devices…for everyone in the family! Especially for parents and students, fourth grade and up, but everyone is welcome! Invite friends; spread the word. “Screenagers” is only available in special showings. Younger children are invited to watch an age-appropriate movie with adult supervision in the Chapel.
Before the movie, at 6 PM, Nate Taylor is offering parent/student orientation to incoming 6th and 8th graders in the Buoy. Pastor Beau Dansizen is offering an introduction to children’s and family ministries in the Chapel. Following the movie, at 8:15 PM, ice cream will be available at the Welcome Center.
