Weekend of Service – August 27 & 28

Our second annual Weekend Of Service will be held Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28. We will have multiple opportunities for you to do just that in whichever way speaks to you. Below is the schedule of our service projects:

Saturday, August 27:

1. ReStore volunteers in Amherst, Ohio. (We will also be taking appliance donations from our congregation if you have been wanting to donate any unused items that Habitat needs.)

2. Blood Drive with the American Red Cross. Held at in the Chapel at ALUCC from 11:00 – 4:00 PM.

3. Hot Italian Dinner served to the residents at Beachpark Tower here in Avon Lake. Dinner is from 4:30-6:30 PM.

4. Friendship APL would like several volunteers as well to help with needed tasks at their shelter.

Sunday, August 28:

1. St. Paul’s UCC would like for some of our members to attend their service this Sunday at 10:30 AM.

2. Avon Lake Love-a-Stray (our most popular project from last year) will be needing our services again as well.

3. ALUCC’s own Good Neighbor Thrift Shop will be receiving a deep clean.
