About Annie

Annie Rasor

My joy with handbells stems from family. My grandfather learned to ring bells, introduced it to my mother, who then taught me. I have been ringing handbells since middle school and directed a bell choir for the first time while in college. Since then, I have directed both children’s and adult choirs. While my degree and career prior to ALUCC are in science, I love the music bells produce, the way they enhance worship and believe anyone can learn to ring.

I live in Avon Lake with my partner in all life’s joys and challenges, Marc, and our four children. When not attending to mom duties, I ring in the Rocky River United Methodist Church Joyful Sounds bell choir, enjoy reading, puzzles and sudoku.
