COUNCIL UPDATES, PODCAST, NEWSLETTERS, ANNUAL REPORT,
The Annual Meeting of the church was held on Sunday, February 1.
At the meeting, we heard reports from church leadership and staff, approved our 2026 budget, accepted newly nominated slate of leadership, and voted to approve changes to the Constitution and By-Laws.
The Annual Report contains staff and committee reports, including financials and statistics.
The Church Council met on Wednesday, January 21 for its regular monthly meeting. The following decisions were made during that meeting.
- The Council approved moving forward with a project brought by the Trustees to upgrade an electrical panel in our building and complete the installation of air conditioning in the Education Wing. The funding for this project will come from the Trustees facility reserve funds.
- The Council approved the request from the Thrift Shop Team to transfer 10% of the Thrifty Shop’s Annual Profit totaling $52,016.72, to their Capital Reserve Fund.
- The Council approved the proposed 2026 Budget to be brought before the congregation at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 25, 2026. A full explanation of the budget will be presented at the meeting prior to the congregational vote.
Notes: The Council meeting in February will take place a week early on February 11 at 7 p.m. In addition, the Council meeting in March will take place a week early on March 11, beginning after Cross Training at 8 p.m.
